The Widebank 28 provides 28 DS1 channels multiplexed into a single DS3 channel. Contained within a 1U chassis, this enables you to install 40 Widebanks into a single 19 or 23 inch rack for a total of 1,120 DS1 circuits. CAC Widebank 28 also provides 1+1 or 1:1 DS3 protection and 1:7 protection on the 4 port DS1 cards, so you are guaranteed maximum uptime and efficiency if a card becomes defective or during routine maintenance.
